Week 6

Assalamualaikum and hello everyone, hope all of my readers is well and always healthy.

For this week, I do finalise my coding on technical components such as RFID scanner, stepper motor, LCD display and TB6600 motor driver. Alhamdulillah, for now, all is well. The only thing that I must do now is doing coding for software that will interface the project data with the IoT system.

I decide to use Blynk apps as my software to monitor and control the data of this RFID Based Food Dispenser for the needy. If using Blynk is not going well, I have a backup plan which is to use the Adafruit website to monitor the data. But the disadvantages of using the website is I can only monitor the data but cannot control it through the Internet. For the detail, I will explain them next week and InshaAllah will do some research about it. Forget to mention, I will use NodeMCU 8622 as a device to interface the project with the IoT.

Since the coding for the software part is a little bit complicated, my target is to spend a maximum of two or three weeks to finish the coding. I will always update my progress on this blog.

"NodeMCU is a low-cost open-source IoT platform. It initially included firmware that runs on the ESP8266 Wi-Fi SoC from Espressif Systems and hardware that was based on the ESP-12 module" - Wikipedia

Below is my progress video this week. As usual, it is in Bahasa Melayu.
