Week 7
Assalamualaikum and hello !!
As usual this week, I will update my FYP's project progress. For this week, I do hardware work which is making the body part of the food dispenser. The first step is to buy the material to construct it. After doing some survey, I decided to buy the material from Xu Yang Hardware at Greenwood. The basic item is plywood, acrylic and nails. Then, I make some calculation based on the food dispenser size and pass it to the hardware shop. They cut the plywood according to the calculated measurement. Then I merge the finish-cutting plywood based on the design that has been made.

The nailing process must be taken very carefully as the plywood is not too thick. If the nailing process is rough, it may damage the plywood. The selection of the nail's size also very important to make sure the plywood would merge smoothly

The latest progress for the model/prototype. There is three-part to this prototype:
1. Grain compartment: The grain compartment is where the grain will be placed. It is still not finished yet since I plan to attach Arcylic to that compartment. I will update more as soon as possible when there is any other progress regarding the acrylic.
2. Component compartment: It is where all of the components will be place. The component like Arduino, stepper motor, motor driver, RFID scanner and many more will be put there once the model is 100% finish
3. Drawer: The grain from the grain compartment will be moved to the drawer and people will take the grain from that drawer. The drawer is equipped with the extension to make it easier for the peoples to take the supply
