Food dispensers are widely used around the world which is normally came with different and various types of size and shape. This is the era of technology, where technology is having a revolution and spread rapidly fast across the globe. With Industry Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0), which is expected to change how we live, work and communicate, this is the right time to upgrade the current food dispenser with the touch of new technology. In this project, the idea is to improve the present food dispensers into the automatic machine with the help of Arduino as the main brain and would be Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) based to access through its system. For a start-up, it is decided that grain would be the first component of this food dispenser as it is the most basic needs for the peoples, especially Malaysian. One of the purposes of this project is to solve the problem of irresponsible people who take the food supply allocated for those in need. Hence, the prototype of " Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) Based Automatic Food Dispenser for The Needy.” will be developed to replace the old food supply distributing system. As mention above, this machine will use Arduino UNO which is the most essential element in this project. In addition, C language or coding plays a major role and will be transferred to the Arduino UNO to command the movement of the motor in this automatic grain machine. RFID play part in scanning the access to the system of this machine. Peoples with the registered card would be allowed or granted to access this machine through scanning process while the system would deny access if the card is unregistered. The registered card will only be given to the people who really need grain supplies.
