Conclusion

5.1 Introduction

In this chapter, and it will provide the fully outcome of the project. It will also determine whether the objectives of the is obtained or not. Then, in this chapter, there will be recommendation for this project to be improved in the future. With the current upgrade, it still has some limitation and hopefully it can be solved in the future.

5.2 Conclusions

In conclusion, the project is offered a new solution in distribute food for the peoples in need. The objective is to develop an automated food dispenser with the access control from the RFID technology that can dispense certain number of supplies per period. It is really a success to this project when it can dispense 1 pound or 453.6 g per scan. Hopefully, it will help more peoples and can reduce their hunger at least a little bit.

Next, this newly innovate food dispenser is not just added with new hardware technology but also added with software innovation. Befittingly with the objective of this project which is to monitor the user’s data using Excel to track the amount of portion that has been taken by the card users. It is a big improvement not just for food dispenser but for entire food distribution system that face transparency and dishonest among the authorities and user itself for ages.

Then, this project committed to help government in controlling crowd and mass gathering during supplies distribution especially in this Covid-19 pandemic. The problem that always faced by the community if it cannot be solved at all, but hopefully it can be minimised to prove the objective of the project which is to test the effectuality of the prototype in reduce the contact between user and machine during Covid-19 pandemic.

5.3 Recommendations

Recommendation is important in upgrade the project in the future. It also will improve the project limitation so that the project will be suitable to be use as the time goes by. Improvement is not making the project become a perfect project one, but it is to do some check and balance for the project so that the weakness will be solved and turned the project into the better one. There are two recommendation for this project:

· Upgrade the control system.

For now, this project only equipped with monitoring system as its automatic system and the control system remain is as manual system. The authorities or person in charge must always monitor and control this machine to avoid misconduct among the users. The suggested control system functioned when it blocked the user from taking the supplies from the machine because the users are already reach their limit in receiving the supplies.

· Upgrade the storage or supplies container.

This project can only supply one type of food supplies at one time for now. It will be a big improvement if it can supply several types of food supplies. The food supplies that suitable to be use with this machine is dry food like grain, wheat, oats and pasta, so if there is some improvement in the future, users will have some choices in selecting food supplies.

These two recommendations are suggested because for now it cannot be done and become limitation for this project. Short of resources and time is the major problem from make the limitation come true.
